Ah, roommates

Filed under: Personal — paulcook @ 11:13 pm

It would appear that my roommate, yes, even my roommate, does not know of the existence of this blog. Greg just discovered it now. We do talk to each other occasionally, really!

Anyway, while we’re on the topic, I should mention the Ubermeister of blogging, Mike, who has taught me almost everything I know about WordPress. His blog is at http://www.blogwaffe.com:8000.

Otherwise, my mother is over here at the moment, visiting, so we’ve been doing lots of touring. It’s something of an event, so should at least be mentioned here for now.

  1. I’m touched, if not suspect as I consider myself more of a peon than an “├╝bermeister of blogging”. I think you’re about to ask a favor.

Oh, and you can’t blame Greg for him sucking so much.

  3. Are you the guy who went to Dim Sum with the fellowship and Hong Kong the saturday before last hallowe’en and ended up sitting beside Dixie’s guest talking about String theory (briefly)? There were also chicken feet.

  4. I am, indeed! Even down to the chicken feet, of which there were indeed some. Were you the guest I was talking to?

    Welcome to the site!

  5. So I figured, you’ve been dropping hints these past so many days: “I don’t think anybody knows about my site. Whatever shall I do?” :)

  6. Oh woe, that I am so transparent! Well, thanks for paying attention to my needs — that’s what a succesful relationship needs, after all.

  7. I was indeed the guest. Well now that we’re here, you need to start updating. You’ll find an audience is like parrots living in the trees outside your bedroom. Mostly you wouldn’t know we’re there until you’re about to go to sleep, or you’ve got some time to yourself and suddenly you notice all the parrots all over the place, and it seems like they’ve only got the one phrase:

    “Update damnit!”

*goes away to set up links and audience funnels*

  8. But in this case, I think, a fair comment! My defence is predictable, but here it is anyway: I was busy entertaining my mom.

But I have a couple of things stored up to write about, so hopefully the dry spell is over!

And thanks for stopping by again!

  9. I can’t help it, I have to know: what is an audience funnel?
